To ensure the safe movement of lakhs of devotees expected during the annual pilgrimage, the entire fair area has been divided into <strong>nine super zones<\/strong>, while <strong>10 dedicated police patrolling teams<\/strong> will remain on continuous duty throughout the event.<\/p>\n<p>A high-level review meeting was held at the <strong>Govardhan Tehsil<\/strong> under the chairmanship of <strong>Agra Zone Additional Director General of Police (ADG) S.K. Bhagat<\/strong>. Senior officials from the police and civil administration reviewed preparedness and directed all departments to complete arrangements well before the commencement of the fair.<\/p>\n<h2>Senior Officials Review Mela Arrangements<\/h2>\n<p>The meeting was attended by Commissioner <strong>Nagendra Pratap<\/strong>, DIG <strong>Shailesh Pandey<\/strong>, District Magistrate <strong>Chandra Prakash Singh<\/strong>, Senior Superintendent of Police <strong>Shlok Kumar<\/strong>, Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority Vice-Chairperson <strong>Lakshmi N.<\/strong>, along with heads of various government departments.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of temples, sewayats and members of the saint community also participated in the review meeting. They shared their experiences from previous years and suggested measures to improve arrangements for devotees during this year&#8217;s Mudiya Purnima Mela.<\/p>\n<h2>Nine Super Zones and Round-the-Clock Patrolling<\/h2>\n<p>ADG S.K. Bhagat said the administration has adopted a comprehensive security strategy considering the expected heavy footfall. The complete mela area has been divided into <strong>nine super zones<\/strong> and multiple operational sectors to improve coordination and emergency response.<\/p>\n<p>Temporary police posts and additional security booths are being established across the Govardhan Parikrama route and other sensitive locations. Police personnel will remain deployed in shifts round the clock, while <strong>10 mobile patrolling teams<\/strong> will continuously monitor crowded areas to respond swiftly to any emergency.<\/p>\n<h2>Traffic, Cleanliness and Public Safety Top Priorities<\/h2>\n<p>The ADG stated that the administration has carefully reviewed the shortcomings observed during previous editions of the fair and has taken corrective measures to eliminate them this year. Special emphasis is being placed on traffic regulation, sanitation, crowd control and maintaining law and order throughout the event.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities are also working to ensure uninterrupted movement of pilgrims, timely emergency response and smooth coordination among all participating departments.<\/p>\n<h2>Additional Police Force Approved<\/h2>\n<p>ADG S.K. Bhagat confirmed that all requests for additional police personnel submitted by the Senior Superintendent of Police and the Deputy Inspector General have been approved at the zonal level.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Our primary objective is to ensure that devotees arriving from across India and abroad experience a safe, peaceful and well-organised Mudiya Purnima Mela without any inconvenience,&#8221; the ADG said during the review meeting.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The annual <strong>Govardhan Mudiya Purnima Mela<\/strong>, organised around <strong>Guru Purnima<\/strong>, attracts lakhs of pilgrims who perform the sacred <strong>Govardhan Parikrama<\/strong>.
