A grand ‘Mega Cricket Tournament’ is set to be organized under the banner of Agarwal Samaj, aimed at uniting the youth of the community and providing them with a premier platform to showcase their talent. Planned under the guidance and vision of Shri Rakesh Garg, Convener of Agarwal Vaishya Samaj Greater Faridabad, the tournament marks the upcoming Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti on October 11.

18 Teams Based on Community ‘Gotras’

In a unique initiative, the tournament will feature 18 teams, each named after the 18 traditional Gotras of the Agarwal community. A total of 18 teams will participate, with 16 players configured per team. The entire championship will be played during the day at a prime sports ground in Neharpar (Greater Faridabad).

Engaging the Youth (Age Group: 16 to 35 Years)

The core objective of this massive sporting event is to foster unity among community members and encourage active youth participation in social initiatives. The tournament is exclusively open to families belonging to the Agarwal Vaishya Samaj, targeting players within the age group of 16 to 35 years.

Nominal Fee, Free Kit, and Exciting Prizes

The organizers have announced a very modest registration fee of ₹500 per player to ensure maximum accessibility. Furthermore, the committee will distribute complete cricket kits to all registered players absolutely free. To keep the competitive spirit high, attractive prizes and accolades will be handed out based on match performances throughout the tournament.

Limited Slots: Only 300 Registrations Nationwide

Given the immense excitement surrounding the event, slots are strictly limited. The committee will accept only 300 registrations from across India on a first-come, first-served basis.
