Key Rules for Drivers

- Special diversions may be imposed during festivals and VIP visits.
Penalty for Violations
Authorities have warned that vehicles operating outside their allotted routes may face cancellation of route permits and legal action under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

The order has been issued under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Rule 178 of the Uttar Pradesh Motor Vehicle Rules, 1998.
