Mathura, 28 May: The emotional scenes of मंगल गायन (auspicious singing), haldi, mehendi, wedding rituals and the tearful farewell of a daughter created such a spiritual atmosphere that it appeared as if Lord Thakur Ji Himself was bidding farewell to His daughter. Every eye present at the venue became emotional during the two-day Tulsi Shaligram Vivah Mahotsav organized by Brajwasi Seva Samiti.

Late at night, the entire gathering became immersed in devotion as renowned Bhagwat speaker Kirti Kishori Ji captivated everyone through soulful मंगल गायन and devotional bhajans that compelled devotees to dance in spiritual ecstasy.

Traditional Rituals Marked the First Day of the Festival

On the first day of the grand wedding festival, former committee president Krishna Gopal Babita Visawar Walo and his family arrived carrying the official Lagna Patrika as the symbolic parents of bride Tulsi Ji.

On behalf of the groom’s side, committee treasurer Sandeep Parul Agarwal and his family welcomed the procession as the symbolic parents of Shaligram Ji, after which the traditional Lagun ceremony was completed with proper rituals and customs.

Women members of the committee initiated the Haldi and Mehendi ceremonies by ceremonially applying haldi to Thakur Ji. The devotional atmosphere continued till late night as women members organized traditional Mahila Sangeet celebrations filled with cultural songs and religious enthusiasm.

Grand Baraat and Spiritual Celebrations on the Second Day

On the second day of the festival, the grand wedding procession (Baraat) of Thakur Shaligram Ji was organized.

A specially invited traditional band from Mumbai added musical charm to the celebrations with their melodious performances.

Lord Shaligram Ji was seated in a magnificent floral palanquin specially brought from Nathdwara and adorned with ornaments made of diamonds, pearls, conch and topaz gemstones.

All committee member families participated enthusiastically in the Baraat procession with devotional dancing and singing before reaching the Janmasa venue where the bride’s side warmly welcomed the wedding guests.

Specially designed floral garlands were used during the Jai Mala ceremony and other sacred wedding rituals.

Kirti Kishori Ji’s Devotional Singing Enthralled Devotees

Renowned Sanatan Dharma preacher Kirti Kishori Ji began the auspicious मंगल गायन through her melodious devotional voice.

One after another, spiritually powerful bhajans created such an atmosphere that devotees completely lost themselves in devotion and continued dancing late into the night.

The emotional devotional environment transformed the entire venue into a spiritually uplifting experience for attendees.

Havan, Pheras and Emotional Kanyadaan Ceremony

Late at night, prominent Braj scholar Pandit Shashank Pathak and his team conducted the sacred Havan and Pheras ceremony according to traditional Vedic customs.

Every member family appeared eager to witness the divine marriage rituals of Thakur Ji.

During the sacred Kanyadaan rituals, women members offered gold, silver, clothes and various gifts according to religious traditions.

The emotional farewell ceremony deeply moved all devotees present, and many members became tearful as it felt like an actual daughter was leaving her parental home after marriage.

Under the starlit sky, Tulsi Ji’s symbolic farewell was completed after the traditional rituals and blessings.

Special Decorations and Arrangements

Founder Shashibhanu Garg, president Mukesh Agarwal and minister Anoop Agarwal informed that craftsmen from Karnataka had been working for nearly a week to specially decorate the entire Khandelwal Seva Sadan venue in Karnataka-style architecture and traditional wedding aesthetics.

Craftsmen from Nathdwara prepared the floral palanquin and the grand Chhappan Bhog offerings for Thakur Ji.

Main event coordinator Deepak Sutiya and program coordinator Sandeep Verma supervised all arrangements throughout the festival.
