Mathura Reshuffles Block Education Officers
Mathura, July 2: In a major administrative exercise aimed at improving the efficiency, transparency and accountability of the district’s basic education system, the District Basic Education Officer (BSA), Ratan Kirti, has reassigned the work areas of Block Education Officers (BEOs). The revised responsibilities have been issued through an official order after receiving approval from the District Magistrate.
Under the latest order, all Block Education Officers have been allotted new development blocks and, in several cases, additional responsibilities. The officers have also been directed to complete all pending work in their previous jurisdictions and immediately assume charge of their newly assigned areas.
New Responsibilities Assigned
According to the office order issued late Wednesday night, the following responsibilities have been allocated:
- Rakesh Kumar – Headquarters along with additional charge of Chaumuha.
- Kaushal Kumar – Naujheel Development Block.
- Buddhasen Singh – Chhata Block with additional responsibility for Nandgaon and Kosi Kalan Nagar.
- Vinay Pratap Singh – Govardhan Development Block.
- Kailash Prasad Shukla – Mathura Rural area.
- Narendra Kumar – Farah Development Block.
- Dinesh Kumar Tripathi – Raya Block along with additional responsibility for Mathura–Vrindavan Urban Area.
- Girij Singh – Mant Block with additional charge of Baldeo.
Instructions for Smooth Transition
The BSA has instructed all officers to ensure proper transfer of official records, online portal access and other administrative responsibilities related to their previous work areas. The transition process has been directed to be completed without delay so that educational and administrative activities continue uninterrupted.
Objective Behind the Administrative Change
The reshuffle has been undertaken to strengthen monitoring of schools, improve field-level supervision and enhance accountability within the Basic Education Department. Officials believe that redistributing responsibilities will help ensure more effective implementation of government education programmes and faster resolution of administrative matters across the district.
