Mathura, September 27, 2026: The Akhil Bhartiya Agarwal Sammelan held a significant swearing-in ceremony for its Braj region leadership at Agravan in Agra, bringing together thousands of community members from 13 districts. The event served as a major platform for the organization to assert its growing social and political influence across the region, culminating in the passing of key resolutions intended to redefine the community’s engagement with mainstream political parties.

Asserting Political Clout in Braj

Central to the discussions was a bold political proposal highlighting the community’s electoral strength. Addressing the gathering, organizers presented a comprehensive electoral map of the 13 districts within the Braj region. The data indicated that in every single constituency, the Agarwal community holds a decisive voter base ranging from 25,000 to 1,50,000. Leveraging these figures, the leadership officially staked a claim to at least 15 assembly ticket nominations across the region. The collective stance is clear: the community will no longer act as a secondary entity for any political party. Instead, the leadership stated that they will offer their full support—spanning financial backing and ground-level mobilization—only to those political entities that recognize and respect the community’s demands and importance.

The national leadership, including General Secretary Gopal Rai, National Minister Vinay Agarwal, National Treasurer Nathuram Jain, and National Organization Minister Vinod Kumar Gupta, oversaw the induction of 48 new regional office bearers. Key appointments included Yogendra Goyal “Treausery Wale”, a noted social worker from Mathura, who was sworn in as the Braj region chairman. Additionally, Shashibhanu Garg was appointed as the senior vice president of the Braj region, while Chirag Agarwal took the role of vice president and Tarachand Agarwal was named the organization secretary for the Braj region.

The Upcoming Amrit Kumbh Event

Following the successful conclusion of the Agra event, the leadership outlined an ambitious roadmap for the coming months. Shashibhanu Garg, the state senior vice president of the Sammelan, announced that Mathura will soon host a state-level ‘Amrit Kumbh’ event. Organizers anticipate this gathering to be a massive show of strength, with approximately 50,000 community members expected to participate. The proposed event is slated to attract prominent figures, including the Chief Minister and several union ministers, alongside national icons of the community. According to organizers, this assembly will be pivotal for making major strategic decisions for the future of the organization. The event in Agra concluded with a unanimous display of support from the thousands in attendance, who cheered the proposed resolutions and expressed strong solidarity with the new leadership team. As the organization prepares for its upcoming projects, it remains focused on consolidating its power base and ensuring that the needs of the Agarwal community are prioritized in the political discourse of Uttar Pradesh and specifically within the Braj region. The atmosphere throughout the event in Agra remained charged, reflecting a growing sentiment that the community is ready to shift its strategy toward more direct, assertive participation in the electoral process of the state.
