Some of the interface elements on MathuraNow start from free, open-source components published on Uiverse.io. We adapted each one to MathuraNow’s colours, sizes, accessibility and languages, and we thank the designers who shared their work.
Uiverse.io
Uiverse.io is an open-source library of user-interface elements made by a community of designers and developers. Every component credited on this page is published there under the MIT licence, which allows it to be used and adapted, including on a commercial website, as long as its copyright and licence notice is kept.
Components we use
- Author profile card, by Smit-Prajapati (view the component). The starting point for the author cards on our About page and author pages, and for the compact author box under each article.
- Social icons, the “Button” by Itskrish01 (view the component). The rounded-square shape and the lift when you point at a social icon, also used for the twelve zodiac signs in the Horoscope sidebar widget.
- Tab indicator, the sliding “glider” of the “Radio” by Smit-Prajapati (view the component). The orange indicator that slides under the tabs of the Panchang sidebar widget and of the places tabs on the new homepage.
- Step cards, by PriyanshuGupta28 (view the component). The timeline-style steps in “How we work” on our About page.
Licence
Each of these components is used under the MIT licence (read the licence text). The creators keep the copyright in their original work. The versions on this site are adapted by us, and they are not endorsed by the creators or by Uiverse.io.
