Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal Honours Yogendra Goyal with ‘Vaishya Mitra’ Award

Mathura: National Executive Member of the International Vaishya Federation (IVF), Yogendra Goyal (Treasury Wale), was honoured with the prestigious ‘Vaishya Mitra’ Samman by Union Minister for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal during the grand celebration of the federation’s 14th Foundation Day held at the Mavalankar Auditorium, Constitution Club, New Delhi.

The event was organised under the theme of “Viksit Bharat”, highlighting the unity of the Vaishya community, its leadership in society, and its contribution to nation-building. The programme brought together social leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and distinguished members of the Vaishya community from across the country.

Prominent Personalities Attend the Ceremony

Union Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal attended the programme as the Chief Guest. Senior BJP leader and former National Vice President Shyam Jaju was also present on the occasion.

During the felicitation ceremony, several eminent personalities were honoured with the ‘Vaishya Mitra’ award for their outstanding contributions in education, industry, social service, healthcare, culture and public welfare. Among the awardees was Yogendra Goyal, who was recognised for his contribution to society.

Federation Reiterates Commitment to Nation Building

International President of the International Vaishya Federation Dr. Ashok Agrawal said that the organisation is committed not only to strengthening the Vaishya community but also to empowering the younger generation through service, values and social responsibility.

He stated that the federation aims to make a meaningful contribution towards India’s development by encouraging social participation and community leadership.

Union Minister Highlights Role of Vaishya Community

Addressing the gathering, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said that achieving the vision of a Developed India (Viksit Bharat) requires active participation from every citizen and every section of society.

He noted that the Vaishya community has consistently contributed to the country’s progress through entrepreneurship, economic development, social responsibility and public service.

Devotional Beginning and Distinguished Participation

The programme commenced with a devotional musical presentation featuring Ganesh Vandana, Achyutam Keshavam and other spiritual compositions.

The event was attended by Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, Uttar Pradesh Minister Kapil Dev Agrawal, former Rajya Sabha MP Anil Agrawal, Executive President Surendra Gupta, Vipin Ram Agrawal, Abhimanyu Gupta, Treasurer Rajeev Mittal, Dinesh Gupta, Jagat Agrawal, Sachin Goyal, Amit Agrawal and several other dignitaries.

The proceedings were conducted by Dr. Ajay Gupta.
