Molestation and indecent behavior with a female student at BSA College, ABVP creates an uproar
Tensions escalated at BSA Degree College in Mathura as student protesters alleged harassment against a fellow student, demanding administrative intervention.

Mathura, October 5, 2026: Tensions flared at BSA Degree College in Mathura on Monday, October 5, 2026, as student protesters gathered at the institution’s main gate to demand action following allegations of harassment. The demonstration, led by members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), saw students chanting slogans and temporarily obstructing access to the college premises to draw attention to their grievances.
During the protest, a female student, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, detailed a series of disturbing incidents. She alleged that a male student, along with a group of associates, had targeted her after she declined requests to share her contact information. According to the student, the group subjected her to explicit, abusive language and issued threats regarding her continued access to the college campus. She further stated that when she attempted to escalate the matter to the office of the college principal, she was informed that he was currently out of station, leaving her feeling unsupported by the administration.
ABVP Leadership Levels Allegations Against Rival Student Group
Anand Katariya, who identified himself as an ABVP provincial minister, represented the student group during the demonstrations. Katariya alleged that the harassment was perpetrated by activists belonging to the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI). He expressed strong dissatisfaction with the college administration, arguing that they have failed to maintain a secure environment for students. During his address at the protest site, Katariya asserted that the demonstration was intended to be peaceful and denied any involvement by his organization in the escalation of tensions that occurred during the day.
The scene outside the college grew chaotic at times, with protesters heard shouting, “Nahi chalegi, nahi chalegi,” in opposition to the alleged behavior. Amidst the demonstration, a white vehicle was observed with a damaged front windshield. While the damage to the vehicle drew immediate attention from onlookers and campus security, Katariya maintained that his group was not responsible for the destruction, insisting that the protesters present were adhering to a peaceful conduct policy.
Administrative Silence and Unresolved Questions
The situation at BSA Degree College remains volatile as the administration has yet to issue a formal statement or counter-narrative regarding the accusations of harassment or the security failures alleged by the students. While on-screen visuals in local reporting indicated that an FIR might have been registered, this detail remains unconfirmed by official police records at this stage. The lack of a clear response from the college leadership or the accused individuals has further fueled the uncertainty surrounding the incident.
