Firozabad, June 6: A remarkable medical success story has emerged from Firozabad District Hospital, where doctors and nursing staff worked tirelessly to save the life of a young woman who suffered a severe snakebite and arrived in critical condition.

Nidhi Yadav, a resident of Shikohabad, was bitten by a venomous snake near her ear on the night of May 20. Her condition deteriorated rapidly after the incident, prompting doctors to refer her to Firozabad District Hospital for advanced treatment.

Condition Became Critical During Transfer

According to medical officials, Nidhi’s condition worsened while she was being transported to the district hospital. Reports indicate that she began experiencing loss of vision and hearing difficulties, highlighting the severity of the snake venom’s effects on her body.

Upon arrival at the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), doctors immediately initiated emergency treatment protocols.

Three Days on Ventilator Support

Under the leadership of Dr. Gaurav Gupta, the medical team placed the patient on ventilator support and began intensive monitoring. Due to the seriousness of the condition, continuous treatment was provided over the next three days.
