Mathura Govind Nagar Police Hold Sainik Sammelan to Address Personnel Issues
Mathura: A Sainik Sammelan was organised at Govind Nagar Police Station in Mathura on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, to discuss the welfare of police personnel and address their personal and departmental concerns.The meeting was held under the leadership of Station House Officer Ajay Verma. Police personnel posted at the station participated in the conference and raised issues related to their service and welfare.

Police Personnel Raise Welfare and Service Issues

The primary objective of the Sainik Sammelan was to provide police personnel with a direct platform to present their concerns and discuss possible solutions. During the meeting, personnel raised several issues concerning their day-to-day service and welfare.

The matters discussed included salary-related discrepancies, insurance-related cases, healthcare facilities, service-related issues and other welfare concerns affecting police personnel.

Station Officer Listens to Personnel’s Concerns

Station House Officer Ajay Verma listened to the concerns of the police personnel with seriousness and sensitivity. He emphasised the important role played by police personnel in maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety.

He said police personnel perform their duties in challenging circumstances and that issues concerning their welfare should be addressed in a timely manner so they can perform their responsibilities in a better working environment.

Family Welfare Issues Also Discussed

The meeting also included discussion on welfare-related issues concerning the families of police personnel. The personnel were assured that matters that could be resolved at the police station level would be addressed on priority.

Issues requiring action at a higher level would be forwarded to the concerned authorities for necessary action, the meeting was told.

Focus on Better Communication Within the Police Force

During the conference, police personnel were also asked about practical difficulties they face while working. They were encouraged to openly share their concerns so that problems could be identified and addressed at the appropriate level.

Emphasis was also placed on maintaining better public relations, ensuring effective law and order and further improving the functioning of the police force.
