Organized under the auspices of the Shri Ramlila Sabha, this year’s event is being designed to be a significant attraction, drawing residents and visitors alike to witness the elaborate festivities associated with the wedding procession of Lord Shri Ram.
A Temple-Inspired Spectacle
The centerpiece of this year’s Janakpuri is a magnificent structure inspired by the architecture of the Sri Ramaswamy temple in Tamil Nadu. According to policy director Gopeshwar Nath Chaturvedi and deputy chairman Jugal Kishore Agrawal, the structure will stand approximately 75 feet tall, offering a unique and grand visual experience. Efforts are being made to ensure that the craftsmanship reflects the cultural grandeur associated with the traditional narrative of Janakpuri.
