Mathura, August 28, 2026: The Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi, has officially recognized the inauguration of the inaugural Mahila Commando Conversion Course (MCCC) at the NSG Training Academy located in Manesar. The Minister described the commencement of this program as a significant and proud milestone for the nation.

In an official statement shared on the social media platform ‘X’, the Union Minister noted that the initiative aligns with the leadership of the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. According to the Minister, this program represents a meaningful effort to empower Nari Shakti by providing women with enhanced capabilities, leadership opportunities, and broader professional prospects.

The Mahila Commando Conversion Course is designed to provide specialized instruction to women personnel drawn from both State Police Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). The curriculum for the trainees includes comprehensive training in weaponry, tactical intervention techniques, hostage rescue, and counter-terrorism operations.

Reflecting on the significance of the training, the Union Minister stated that India’s Nari Shakti is actively breaking through traditional barriers and demonstrating the ability to lead from the front. Emphasizing the spirit of the initiative, the Minister underscored the sentiment that those who dare are those who lead.
