Mathura, September 14, 2026: The Maa Nari Semri temple serves not only as a place of worship but as a profound spiritual anchor for countless families residing across Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, and beyond, including those settled internationally. As the Kuldevi (family deity) for many, the temple remains the primary destination for devotees seeking blessings during significant life milestones, such as weddings, the birth of children, the purchase of a new home, and other family rituals. Recognizing this enduring bond, the Annapurna Bhojanalaya has been established within the temple’s large Dharmashala to serve as a center of faith, prasad, and communal warmth.

A Center for Seva and Spiritual Connection

The establishment of the Annapurna Bhojanalaya was made possible through the vision and inspiration of Param Pujya Babbu Bhaiya Indrapuri Darbar, executed by the Shrimati Barfi Devi Charitable Society. This facility has transcended the role of a simple dining space, evolving into a beautiful environment where service and devotion converge. Every day, the kitchen offers the Maa’s meal prasad to the deity during both morning and evening hours. Beyond these main meals, the Bhojanalaya provides snack services during the day, milk service in the evening, and complimentary tea for pilgrims arriving for the Mangala Aarti. The core objective of this initiative is to provide an intimate and nurturing experience for every devotee who arrives at the shrine.

Spiritual Expansion with 51 Shaktipeeth Displays

In a significant enhancement of the site’s spiritual atmosphere, grand and divine portraits representing the 51 Shaktipeeths were installed in the Annapurna Bhojanalaya on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, alongside a sacred portrait of Lord Ganesha. These installations have transformed the facility into an even more meaningful pilgrimage site. Devotees visiting Maa Nari Semri Temple are now afforded the unique opportunity to view all 51 Shaktipeeths in one location. Each display includes detailed information regarding the specific bodily part or ornament of the Goddess associated with that site and its geographical location. The presence of these depictions creates a sense of divine presence, as if the various Shaktipeeths themselves have gathered to offer blessings and messages of service to the followers of Maa Nari Semri.

Collaborative Efforts and Community Impact

The realization of this service structure was bolstered by the dedicated guidance and support of Shri Ashok Ji Agarwal, President of the Shri Chandrabhan Sabun Wale Seva Trust. His contributions, which included arranging for kitchen staff and artisans, were instrumental in launching the operations effectively. The institution has extended its gratitude for his humanitarian support. The entire initiative is anchored by the large Dharmashala constructed by the Maa Nari Semri Devi Kshetra Vikas Samiti. By providing this infrastructure, the committee has laid a solid foundation for the ongoing tradition of service. The committee members, including Shri Ravi Kant Garg (Chairman, Uttar Pradesh Traders’ Welfare Board, Government of Uttar Pradesh), Mulchand Garg (Former Councilor, Mathura-Vrindavan Municipal Corporation, Bhuteshwar, Mathura), Vijay Kumar Agarwal, Praveen Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Naresh Chandra, Rajkumar Ji, and Govind Ji, have collectively urged all devotees to visit the upon their pilgrimage to Maa Nari Semri.

The underlying philosophy of this collective endeavor is to ensure that every devotee feels that the temple is not merely a house of worship, but their own home. It is a space where they can receive the Mother’s blessings, partake in the sacred prasad, and find an opportunity for selfless service. With the grace of Maa Nari Semri, the management hopes this service will continue to grow, bringing prasad and spiritual enlightenment to the thousands of pilgrims arriving from around the globe who adhere to the guiding principle that service is the ultimate religion.
