Hariyali Teej Carnival and the 80th Independence Day (2026) were celebrated at Shivasha Estate, Mathura

Mathura, August 15: Hariyali Teej Carnival 2026 brought together the festive spirit of Hariyali Teej and Independence Day with a vibrant family-oriented celebration at Shivasha Estate Grounds in Mathura. The event featured cultural activities, entertainment, shopping, food and games, creating a lively atmosphere for visitors.

The carnival was scheduled for August 15, 2026, from 4:30 pm onwards at the Shivasha Estate Grounds. The event material described it as a platform celebrating identity, business and community participation while providing visitors with a range of entertainment and family activities.

Camel Ride, Shooting and Fun Zone Among Major Attractions

The carnival offered several attractions for visitors. Camel rides, shooting activities, chaat, ice cream and a fun zone were among the major highlights. The programme also included cultural presentations, a Teej queen competition and a shopping zone.

The organisers also arranged a coupon system, invitation cards and a lucky draw. These arrangements added an interactive element to the celebration and helped create a festive experience for participating families.

Stalls put up by local traders and participating businesses further added colour to the event. The combination of shopping, food, entertainment and cultural activities gave traders an opportunity to showcase their businesses while visitors enjoyed the celebrations.

Mela Sanyojak Mandal Played Key Role

The event booklet lists a large Mela Sanyojak Mandal involved in coordinating the programme. The listed members include Ragini Kulshreshtha, Rashmi Varshney, Rashmi Sharma, Ekta Agrawal, Dr. Shalini Agrawal, Reema Kapoor, Neeru Saraswat, Shobha Pathak, Neelam Garg, Premlata Singh, Dr. Manoj Gupta, Amit Sharma, Jitendra Gupta, Manoj Gupta, Deepak Garg, Manish Gupta, Nitin Kulshreshtha, Atul Pathak, Raju Mohan, Sushil Diwan, Rachna Agrawal, Anju Agrawal, Shweta Agarwal, Shweta Kulshreshtha and Pradeep Garg.

The collective participation of the coordination team helped bring together different elements of the carnival, including cultural activities, entertainment, business stalls and visitor arrangements.

Organising Committee Members Named

The official invitation material for the Hariyali Teej Carnival also lists the members of the Ayojak Samiti. According to the invitation, Mantosh Kumar Agrawal is the Socity President, while Anuj Agrawal is the Secretary.

Dharm Chandra Jain has been listed as Treasurer, Sachin Jain as Organisation Minister, and Rachna Agrawal and Shweta Kulshreshtha are also named as members of the organising committee.

The invitation also names several special supporters associated with the programme. These include Smt. Hemlata Shastri Ji, Dr. Shalini Agrawal Ji, Shri Jay Singh Verma Ji and Shri Atul Pathak Ji.

The event booklet also carries advertisements and greetings from several local businesses and institutions associated with the programme. Shivasha Estate is prominently featured on the carnival’s main invitation material.

Other businesses and institutions visible in the event material include PK & PK Jewellers Pvt. Ltd., Prateek Construction, Maa Anguri Devi Hospital and Trauma Center, Ashish Eye Care Center, HDFC Sales, Sharma Properties, St. Anne’s School, Radha Swami Associates, Chaturvedi Properties, Manglam Sarees, Prateek Constructions,  Bandhan Creation by Ashok Kumar, Anuj Kumar and S.V. Festive Celebration Combined with Independence Day

The carnival also carried a strong Independence Day theme, with the event material extending greetings for 15 August alongside Hariyali Teej celebrations. The combination of the two occasions gave the programme a broader community character.

The organisers and programme coordinators deserve appreciation for bringing together cultural presentations, entertainment, shopping and local business participation in one event. The arrangements for the coupon system, invitation cards, lucky draw and multiple activity zones were also among the notable features of the celebration.

With camel rides, shooting, chaat, ice cream, cultural performances, shopping and other attractions, Hariyali Teej Carnival 2026 offered visitors an opportunity to celebrate the festival in a colourful and family-friendly setting in Mathura.
