Mathura Launches District-Wide Recruitment Drive for Security Personnel

Mathura, August 26, 2026: The Mathura district administration has officially announced a series of recruitment camps aimed at providing employment opportunities for local youth. In a recent update, District Development Officer Garima Khare confirmed that the initiative, conducted in partnership with GDX Security Noida, seeks to fill numerous vacancies for security guards and supervisor roles. This large-scale recruitment drive is scheduled to take place across all administrative blocks within the district, offering a structured path to permanent employment for successful candidates who complete the necessary training phases.

Program Details and Registration Logistics

The registration process is designed to be accessible to all eligible applicants throughout the region. Camps will be held daily between the hours of 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM at the offices of the respective Block Development Officers. The administration has set a strict timeline for these operations, which are scheduled to run from August 27 through September 11. This timeframe covers a comprehensive circuit of locations, including Fara, Govardhan, Baldev, Mat, Naujhil, Mathura, Raya, Chaumuhan, Nandgaon, and Chhata, ensuring that candidates in rural and peripheral areas have a fair opportunity to participate in the selection process without the need for long-distance travel.

Candidate Eligibility and Role Requirements

To ensure a standard of professionalism, the administration has released specific eligibility criteria for both roles. For the position of security guard, applicants must have completed 10th-grade education and fall within the age bracket of 19 to 45 years. Additionally, candidates must meet physical standards including a minimum height of 168 centimeters and a minimum weight of 55 kilograms. These requirements are intended to match the operational demands of security-related work, preparing successful recruits for the training modules that follow the initial screening.

For those seeking the supervisor role, the requirements shift toward higher academic and technical qualifications. Applicants for supervisor positions must possess at least a 12th-grade qualification and demonstrate computer literacy to manage the administrative aspects of security operations. The age eligibility for supervisors is set between 21 and 45 years, reflecting the added responsibility associated with overseeing guard teams and reporting workflows within the security firm.

Building Local Employment Pathways

The collaboration between the Mathura district authorities and GDX Security represents a proactive effort to address unemployment among local youth. By integrating the recruitment process directly into the Block Development Officer offices, the initiative minimizes the traditional hurdles that job seekers often face when navigating private sector hiring processes. According to district officials, the objective is to simplify the transition from the registration camp to the formal training phase, ultimately leading to stable and permanent employment opportunities.

The administration encourages interested candidates to prepare the necessary documentation, including identification and academic credentials, before visiting their local camp. While the schedule is spread across several weeks, applicants are advised to verify the specific dates for their respective blocks to avoid scheduling conflicts. This initiative highlights a broader commitment by the Mathura local government to foster workforce development and ensure that regional job seekers have clear, transparent access to private sector vacancies as they emerge in the district.

By standardizing the hiring process for security personnel, the project not only assists job seekers but also provides a steady stream of trained manpower for the security sector. As the camps begin, the success of the initiative will likely be measured by the number of youth successfully placed in permanent roles. Residents are encouraged to monitor future updates from the district office for any potential changes or supplementary instructions regarding the upcoming registration schedule across all identified locations.
