Mathura Traders Hold Condolence Meeting

Mathura, July 1: Nagar Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhi, Mathura, organised a condolence meeting at Bhamashah Bhawan, Bharatpur Gate, to pay tribute to the late Om Prakash Sahni, father of City General Secretary Sunil Sahni. Members of the traders’ association observed silence and expressed their condolences to the bereaved family.

The meeting was chaired by City President Sunil Agarwal. At the beginning of the programme, members paid tribute to Om Prakash Sahni and described his passing as a great loss for the trader community and society.

Remembered for Social Service

Speakers said that Om Prakash Sahni was a devoted follower of Giriraj Maharaj and was widely respected for his religious values and social service. Throughout his life, he worked for poor and needy people, cared for animals and supported many religious and charitable activities.

Members said he always believed that helping people in need was his duty. They added that he actively participated in community welfare programmes and religious events. His contribution earned him respect from traders and local residents across Mathura.

Several speakers said his sudden demise has created a void in the trader community. They prayed for peace for the departed soul and offered their condolences to the family.

Traders Extend Support to the Family

The association said the entire trader community stands with the Sahni family during this difficult time. Members prayed that the departed soul may attain eternal peace and that the family receives strength to overcome the loss.

At the end of the meeting, members observed a two-minute silence for the peace of the departed soul. The programme concluded with the recitation of the Gayatri Mantra.

Large Number of Members Attend

The meeting was conducted by City General Secretary Shashibhanu Garg. A large number of office-bearers and members attended the programme.

Tribute to a Respected Social Worker

Members said that Om Prakash Sahni’s life was dedicated to humanity, religious service and public welfare. They said his values of compassion, charity and selfless service will continue to inspire the trader community and future generations. The meeting concluded with prayers for the departed soul and condolences to the family.
