263 People Receive Free Medical Care at Mathura Health Camp

Marking the birth anniversary of renowned philanthropist Seth Bhamashah, the Nagar Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhi Mandal organized a free medical consultation and diagnostic camp in Mathura on Sunday. The health camp was conducted in collaboration with Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi, at the Braj Chikitsa Sansthan, providing free specialist consultations and health screenings to hundreds of residents.

According to the organizers, a total of 263 people received free medical consultations during the camp, while 216 beneficiaries underwent various diagnostic tests without any charge. The initiative was organized as part of the observance of Vyapari Kalyan Diwas, which is commemorated annually on Seth Bhamashah Jayanti.

Camp Inaugurated with Traditional Ceremony

The medical camp was inaugurated by Braj Chikitsa Sansthan President Jitendra Agrawal, Minister Anurag Garg, Vyapar Mandal President Sunil Agrawal, and General Secretary Shashi Bhanu Garg, who lit a ceremonial lamp before an image of Lord Krishna. Doctors and nursing staff from Apollo Hospital were felicitated with traditional scarves and mementos in recognition of their contribution to the humanitarian initiative.

Specialist Doctors Provided Free Consultation

General Secretary Shashi Bhanu Garg said that four specialist doctors from Indraprastha Apollo Hospital participated in the camp and examined patients across multiple medical disciplines.

  • Dr. Satyendra Verma (General Physician) consulted 93 patients.
  • Dr. Varun Bansal (Cardiologist) examined 47 patients.
  • Dr. Sarang Agrawal (Orthopaedic Specialist) treated 63 patients.
  • Dr. Abhirup Chandra (Cancer Specialist) provided consultation to 13 patients.

In addition to specialist consultations, visitors also received free health screening services, including blood pressure measurement, blood sugar testing, bone mineral density (BMD) examination, and ECG tests. More than 200 patients benefited from these diagnostic facilities during the camp.

Organizers Appreciate Community Participation

Braj Chikitsa Sansthan President Jitendra Agrawal and Minister Anurag Garg appreciated the Vyapar Mandal for organizing the healthcare initiative with the support of one of India’s leading hospitals. They assured continued cooperation for similar public welfare activities in the future.

Vyapar Mandal President Sunil Agrawal said the organization has been observing Seth Bhamashah Jayanti as Vyapari Kalyan Diwas following state government initiatives introduced four years ago. He noted that the event was organized to remember the legacy of Seth Bhamashah while serving society through free healthcare.

The camp witnessed a steady flow of visitors throughout the morning, with long queues of patients waiting for specialist consultations and health check-ups.

The programme was attended by several office bearers and members of the trade association, including Gurmukh Das, Councillor Rajveer Chaudhary, Raj Narayan Gaur, Sunil Sahani, Shribhagwan Chaturvedi, Vikas Jindal, Prem Shankar Agrawal, Vijayveer Singh, Dinesh Lohia, Harish Agrawal, Yogesh Bijli, Ashok Agrawal, Meena Lal Agrawal, Mukesh Agrawal, Jagat Bahadur Agrawal, Advocate Sarvesh Sharma, Rajeev Mittal, Rohit, and Hospital Coordinator Satish Pandey, along with a large number of traders and local residents.
