Officials from the Mathura-Vrindavan Development Authority and Municipal Corporation also participated. Their presence gave the rally a strong civic character and highlighted the role of public institutions in community campaigns.

Patriotism Linked With Clean Braj Message

The rally was not limited to a display of the national flag. Organisers used the occasion to connect Independence Day celebrations with the cleanliness campaign in Braj.

During the rally, the message “Hum sabne thana hai—Braj ko swachh banana hai” remained a prominent theme. The campaign called on citizens to treat cleanliness in Braj as a shared responsibility rather than limiting the Independence Day celebration to patriotic activities alone.

The route through Mathura and Vrindavan also allowed the campaign to reach residents across different parts of the city. The participation of public representatives and citizens added to the visibility of the initiative.

Rally Highlights Civic Participation

The event reflected a combination of public participation, national pride and civic responsibility. The sight of Tricolours moving through the city streets created a visible Independence Day atmosphere while the cleanliness message gave the campaign a local civic focus.

For Mathura and Vrindavan, where public spaces and pilgrimage routes receive significant attention, the message of keeping Braj clean carries particular relevance. The Municipal Corporation appealed to citizens to make cleanliness a continuing responsibility and not only an Independence Day activity.
