During the event, former State Minister Ravikant Garg, former MLA Shyam Singh Aheria, and MLC Thakur Om Prakash Singh were welcomed by Committee President Jugal Kishore Agrawal and Reception Committee Chairman Mahesh Chandra Kasera with shawls and ceremonial stoles.
Prabhat Sarraf, coordinator of the Chhappan Bhog arrangements, also honored Maharaj Ji with a shawl and stole. Renowned narrator Sadhvi Meera Shastri, who attended the leela, was welcomed by Rajni Tayal with a ceremonial stole.
In the dramatic presentation of Govardhan Leela, it was shown that every year on the first day of Kartik Shukla Pratipada, Nand Baba and Mother Yashoda traditionally organized the worship of their family deity, Lord Indra. As preparations began for the annual ritual, meetings were held with prominent residents from Barsana, Unchagaon, and surrounding villages to make elaborate arrangements.

Households across Braj prepared sweets, delicacies, and festive offerings for the worship ceremony. The gopis were assigned the task of protecting these preparations from the playful eyes of young Krishna. However, Lord Krishna, feeling hungry, insisted on being given food immediately.
Despite repeated attempts by the elders to explain the significance of the ritual, Krishna remained determined. He questioned the necessity of worshipping Indra and asked the Braj residents why they should not instead worship Giriraj Maharaj (Govardhan Hill), who directly nurtured and protected them.
Through his divine logic and loving persuasion, Krishna explained that Govardhan Hill provided grass for the cows, water for life, and resources essential for the prosperity of Braj. Therefore, Govardhan deserved their gratitude and worship.

The residents of Braj were convinced by Krishna’s arguments and accepted his guidance. They collectively worshipped Giriraj Maharaj and performed the sacred Govardhan Parikrama with great devotion and enthusiasm.
As the worship commenced, the atmosphere echoed with jubilant chants of “Giriraj Maharaj Ki Jai”. The presentation beautifully recreated the divine moment when the people of Braj shifted their devotion from ritualistic worship of Indra to heartfelt gratitude toward Govardhan Hill under the guidance of Lord Krishna.
The magnificent Chhappan Bhog Darshan became one of the highlights of the event, attracting large numbers of devotees who felt blessed by the divine offerings presented before the Lord. The spiritual atmosphere, devotional music, and vibrant enactment of the sacred episode created an unforgettable experience for all present.
