Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary is a senior politician from Uttar Pradesh and one of the prominent public representatives from the Mathura district. He currently represents the Chhata Assembly Constituency in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and serves as a Cabinet Minister in the Uttar Pradesh Government. Early Life and Education

Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary was born on 22 July 1951 in Sanchauli village, located in Chhata tehsil of Mathura district. His father was Late Chaudhary Ratiram Singh. He completed his higher education at Agra University, where he earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. His educational background in law has contributed to his understanding of governance and public administration.

Family Background

He is married to Smt. Mamta Chaudhary. The family has traditionally been associated with agriculture and local business activities. According to publicly available election affidavits, agriculture remains one of the family’s primary occupations.

Political Journey

Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary has been active in Uttar Pradesh politics for more than four decades. During his long political career, he has represented the Chhata Assembly constituency multiple times in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

He has served in ministerial positions under different governments during his political career. At present, he is a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and serves as a Cabinet Minister in the government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He currently holds responsibility for the Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills Department.

2022 Assembly Election

In the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary was elected from the Chhata Assembly constituency as the BJP candidate. He defeated his nearest rival by a margin of nearly 49,000 votes, reaffirming his political influence in the constituency.
