Thakur Meghshyam Singh was born into a respected family in Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh. His father is Shri Kishan Singh. Raised in the rural region of Braj, he developed a close understanding of agricultural and village-related issues from an early age. He completed his higher education with a Graduate degree before entering public life.

Before becoming an MLA, Thakur Meghshyam Singh was associated with agriculture, business, and the cooperative sector. He also served as the Chairman of the Mathura District Cooperative Bank, where he remained connected with cooperative banking and rural development initiatives.

Political Career

Thakur Meghshyam Singh has been actively involved in public service for several years. In the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, he contested from the Govardhan Assembly constituency as the BJP candidate and was elected to the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

According to the official election results, he defeated his nearest rival, Raj Kumar Rawat of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), by a margin of 42,507 votes.
