Makhan Chori and Mahaprabhu Nimai-Haripriya Wedding Leela Leaves Devotees Spellbound

Mathura: During the Gaurang Leela being organized at Chitrakoot in Purushottam Maas by Shri Ramayan Pracharini Samiti, narrator Krishna Murari presented the divine Makhan Chori Leela and the wedding festivities of Nimai Ji and Haripriya. Devotees present at the venue became emotionally immersed and overwhelmed with devotion.

In the Leela, Mother Yashoda asks Kanha to give up stealing butter. The Gopis of Chiksauli plan to catch Krishna red-handed while stealing butter. Krishna rides on Prabhat Sarraf as if he were a horse and distributes butter to him and other devotees present there.

Devotees including Jugal Kishore Agrawal, Vanbihari Agrawal, Vishanchandra Goyal, Avdhesh Agrawal and Brijgopal Agrawal feel blessed after receiving the Makhan Prasad.

Meanwhile in Navadweep, Haripriya, daughter of royal scholar Sanatan Mishra and Mahamaya, meets Pandit Nimai Mahaprabhu for the first time at Sanketvan according to Saint Surdas. Both become enchanted while gazing at each other. Pandit Kashinath Mishra arranges their alliance.

The rituals of Nimai Ji’s tilak ceremony, wedding procession, marriage rituals, exchange of garlands and Kanyadaan are performed with devotion and grandeur. On the song “Chhabilo Mero Varna Byavan Jay”, devotees including Kalyandas Brijwasi, Maheshchandra Kasere, Rajendra Prasad Agrawal, Madhavsharan Agrawal, Yogesh Varshney, Sumit Agrawal and Prabhat Sarraf dance joyfully as members of the wedding procession.

Devotees present in the pandal feel spiritually delighted while participating in the Kanyadaan of Haripriya Ji.

Pundarik Vyas as Shri Krishna and Nimai Ji, Kamlesh Vyas as Yashoda, Ishwar Sharma as the companion from Chiksauli and Bharat Bhushan Gaur as Mansukha leave a lasting impression with their excellent performances.

Gopeshwar Nath Chaturvedi, who attended the event, was honored by Vyas Ji with a ceremonial stole. The program was conducted by Lachhman Prasad Yadav.

Among those present during the Katha were Anil Agrawal (Kosi), Dr. D.D. Garg, Rajni Tayal, Moolchand Garg, General Secretary (Ramlila Sabha, Mathura) and Shyama Khandelwal.
