Mathura Police Arrest Man for Stalking Bank Employee
Mathura police arrested Rajan Rizvi following a complaint from a bank employee regarding harassment, stalking, and obscene messaging.

Mathura, September 27, 2026: Mathura authorities have apprehended a man on charges of persistently harassing and stalking a local bank employee. The arrest, carried out on 27/9/26, was confirmed by Ms. Aashna Chaudhary, Assistant Superintendent of Police and Circle Officer (City), Mathura. The accused, identified as Rajan Rizvi, was taken into custody from the Quarsi police station area in Aligarh.
According to the official statement provided by Ms. Aashna Chaudhary, the arrest follows a case registered at the Kotwali police station under crime number 636/26. The investigation was jointly conducted by the local Kotwali police and the SWAT team, leading to the successful tracking of the accused to the neighboring district of Aligarh.

The investigation was initiated after the victim, a bank employee, reported a pattern of consistent harassment. According to the police report, Rajan Rizvi had been stalking the woman for a significant period. The official account provided by the police indicates that the accused had made it increasingly difficult for the victim to perform her professional duties due to his intrusive behavior.

These actions formed the basis of the criminal case registered at the Kotwali police station, which ultimately culminated in the joint operation by the SWAT team and the local police force.
