Mathura, September 24, 2026: The Swami Ghat Business Committee recently marked the conclusion of its annual Van Vihar festival, a highly anticipated event that brought together the local merchant community for a day of celebration and unity. The festival, which celebrates the local heritage and community spirit of the region, was observed with great enthusiasm and traditional fervor. The program featured an elaborate series of events, culminating in a vibrant musical evening that highlighted the devotional spirit of the Mathura region.
Inauguration and Official Welcome
The festivities commenced with a formal lamp-lighting ceremony, signifying the auspicious start of the annual proceedings. The ceremony was led by key figures of the Nagar Udyog Vyapar Pratinidhi Mandal, including City President Sunil Agarwal, General Secretary Sunil Sahani, Vice Presidents Raj Narayan Gaur and Dilip Kumar Pandey, Treasurer Meena Lal Bajaj, Senior Minister Vikas Jindal, and Youth President Mukesh Agarwal. They were joined by Ward Councilor Kunj Bihari Bhardwaj in officiating the opening. Following the inauguration, the local office bearers were welcomed by the committee’s dedicated patrons and leadership team, including Patron Laxman Khandelwal and Babulal Khandelwal, President Shyam Sundar Agarwal, General Secretary Rishi Agarwal, Treasurer Vishnu Agarwal Bhagat Ji, and Vice President Radha Raman Ruhela.
