The Uttar Pradesh government will run a campaign from November 25 to December 25 to issue Ayushman cards to eligible beneficiaries in rural and urban areas.

Mathura, October 13, 2026: The Uttar Pradesh government will run a month-long campaign to issue Ayushman cards to eligible beneficiaries who have not yet received them. The initiative, aimed at providing comprehensive healthcare benefits to the underprivileged, is scheduled to run from November 25 to December 25. According to official sources, the Health Department is the nodal agency and will coordinate with the Urban Development Department, Rural Development Department, Education Department, and the Information Department to implement the scheme across the district.
Dr. Anuj Kumar, the Nodal Officer for the Health Department, said the campaign will focus on individuals previously left out of the coverage, including families under the ‘Eligible Household’ category where only some members were registered. Additionally, all individuals aged 70 years and above who are listed on the official government portal are eligible to receive the cards. Dr. Kumar said eligibility will be strictly determined by the list generated from the survey conducted in 2011.
