Brahma Kumaris Celebrate Rakshabandhan with Officials and Public Representatives in Firozabad
Brahma Kumaris hosted a Rakshabandhan celebration in Firozabad, where Sarita Didi tied raksha sutras on local officials and representatives.

Firozabad, August 29, 2026: The Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya recently hosted a vibrant Rakshabandhan celebration in the Civil Lines, Dabraii area of Firozabad. Under the guidance of Sarita Didi, the local director of the organization, the event focused on the traditional observance of the festival, featuring both spiritual and formal components.
During the proceedings, Sarita Didi and Khushi Didi honored several key public representatives and government officials by tying protective threads, or raksha sutras, on their wrists. Among those who received the rakhi were District Magistrate Santosh Kumar, Sadar MLA Manish Asija, and Mayor Kamini Rathore. As part of the traditional ritual, the sisters applied sandalwood tilaks to the foreheads of the guests and offered them sweets.

Beyond the formal rituals, the Brahma Kumaris representatives shared spiritual literature and messages regarding the significance of the Rakshabandhan festival with the attendees.
In addition to the public representatives, the event included a wider group of government personnel. The sisters performed the rakhi-tying ceremony for numerous officials, including the Chief Development Officer (CDO) Shatrohan Vaishya, as well as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM), the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), the Basic Shiksha Adhikari (BSA), the Chief Accounts Officer (CAO), the Superintendent of Police (SP) City, and the Social Welfare Officer. Various other officials present at the event also participated in the celebration.
